CLOWNING AROUND

We had a Christian group of clowns come to co-op one day to visit various classes.
Here the pre-Kers watch some balloon demonstrations.

PARTY TIME

Our November birthdays were held at church this year again.
It is a convenient location with plenty of space for a crowd.
We celebrated 10, 7, 5 and 3!

The party was themed for the 5 year old with puppies and loosely, paw patrol.
I don't think the pictures are in order but they are here at least.

Setting up

Pinata

Whoops!  Someone knocked off Chase's head!

Again, very serious.

Happy customers, I hope.

Love this one!

Board and table games

Thanks to all who came out and pitched in!
We hope you enjoyed yourselves.

CHELSEA HOUSE

The girls had the opportunity to go and perform at an assisted living facility this fall with a co-op group.  MJ also had another opportunity to go and help lead an art class, but I was unable to go that time and so I don't have any pictures.

Anyway, poor picture quality--but so we have the memory to look back on.

The girls sang a song together.

Missy recited a poem with a classmate.

There were several musical performances--instruments and vocal for the enjoyment of the folks there.
It is a great opportunity to get out into the community and serve others.

BIRTHDAY BUDDIES

These guys were SO, SO, SO excited for their birthday!!

The morning finally arrived and we had to get the obligatory birthday pictures..

Since Daddy is not home in the morning, they could each open one present of their choosing and wait until evening for the rest.

Evening came..and while birthday dinner was still cooking--(we had co-op that day) they opened the rest of their gifts.

The above Mister is super animated and full of expression opening.  It is quite the opposite with the Mister below.  He opens very seriously and holds up every item for at least 30 seconds for everyone to see.

(This is the "I'm going to get you back now that I have my own" look at his brother)

Birthday cupcakes!!

Happy Birthday, boys!
We hope that 5 and 3 are fabulous!

POLAR BEAR CLUB

One of these things is not like the rest.
I have a child that "likes cold."  Those are his words.
Notice the picture below--the person next to him is wearing a winter coat and long pants--THIS child has on shorts and pushed up his sleeves on his shirt.  The child with the coat is the "normal" one--it was cold!!  :)  I have never met a child so picky about his clothing, going as far as changing several times a day because he "doesn't like this one anymore" or needs to "match his buddy."

I finally was able to go through the summer clothes swap over to winter clothes..so the shorts were all packed away.  Well, it was a bit of a fight that morning--but there were NO shorts, or "small pants" as he calls them.  So he finally found an outfit he liked--and pushed up his sleeves and found clips off the fridge to hold his pants up so that they would be "small pants."  I had to chuckle as I snapped this picture.  Stubborn and strong-willed certainly but also most definitely clever.

Now that I can get him to wear appropriate clothes--the winter coat is the next battle to win!!
