Actually, J and G are also in a pre-k art class, but only the "big" kids got to display their artwork.

You know it is serious when they have to wear black and white. ;)

This is the younger choir.
They were actually told that they were not going to be performing until a designated time in January--
Surprise!  And there is Missy right up in front with a hole in her tights!
The only one not in her holiday finery.
She was happy to sing, so I guess that is all that matters.

The older choir group.

I'm looking forward to the Spring concert.
Hopefully the dance class will perform and the kids will do piano recitals.

Hey, Happy New Year.
I think this is my last post for today.
I am no where near caught up to where I wanted to be, but oh well!
Wishing you all a blessed 2017!

DECEMBER ZOO

Family Fellowship took a trip to the zoo on a chilly December night.
They had the zoo decorated for the holidays and there was free admission.
Can't beat that, right?

The entire zoo was not open and of course it is to be expected that not all animals will be out, but it was a nice time!  I would do it again and the kids had a great time.

The train was going!

And you could get pictures with princesses.
The boys weren't so thrilled with that.

4-H

Another post that is long overdue..
The end of October held the annual 4-H awards potluck dinner.
MJ missed it this year due to a conflicting activity, but we made sure to bring his "stuff" home.

The girls receiving their pins and awards.

Activities on the tables to keep littles occupied.
Next year I think the board needs to think about changing the venue--it was crowded!

MORE APPLES

I don't think I shared these pictures.
If I did, I apologize.  Or maybe I shouldn't.
You are the fortunate ones that get to see them twice.
;)

On a warm October weekday, we hit another apple picking spot.
We tried to get a nice picture..however........

We did get apples anyway.

NOVEMBER ZOO

We visited the zoo back in November on a day that Mike had off.
It just "happened" to be the day before two birthdays!
We had the place pretty much to ourselves.
We'd never been to this particular zoo before, and it would be nice to go again in the warmer weather.

The kids had a good time..
Boogie was totally into the map and making sure we saw everything.
