DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?

In January, we attended a snowman building craft at the library!

It was fun and cute and the kids enjoyed it.

PIRATE-BANDIT

Doncha just love that little face?
Mr. J is two and still not really verbal ( 10 words?), though he is trying and adds a word or two to his vocabulary every so often. A month ago or so, we were at the dinner table and he said "agua" clear as day (copying his big sister)--so we thought maybe we're speaking the wrong language!  ;)  He is a little lovey, but some attitude has emerged in the last month and a half.  He is in a big-boy bed and we're (very loosely) working on potty-training.  I'm not at crackdown point yet--probably summer time.  Just a little update on him.  Enjoy your evening!

3 MONTHS

The past three months have flown by..and boy oh boy has our little one grown!
He went from being the smallest to being the Fattest!  LOL.
His thighs are enormous!  I guess the only time in life it is totally acceptable to have "more rolls than a bakery."

Grant is a happy guy.
He is pretty laid back and just content all around.
We got off to a bit of a rocky start, but he settled down around 1 month old.
He started responding right around 6 weeks old with smiles and coos--er..complete conversations.
I think he is the most verbal out of the kids at this age, if I remember correctly.
He sleeps well..8 hours on average per night.
Eats well..as evidenced by those thighs..
I don't have a height or weight on him..but he is solid that is certain.

Here are some pictures from the past couple months.

This was baptism day.
January 11th.

It is such hard work to sleep all day!

These two were from yesterday--his three month birthday.

I actually started a post over a month ago on "life with six" but....well, I feel like I can only get one "Extra" thing a day done--whether it be blogging or a big cleaning job or craft project etc.  Obviously, blogging has not been priority.    We'll see what the future brings.
For now, enjoy the pictures.

NEW HOBBY

MJ had several opportunities this fall and winter to go out hunting with Mike.
He even went deer hunting and sat in a tree stand.

As I've said before, apparently he is a pretty good shot.
So hopefully in a couple of years he can up the odds of us filling the freezer.

He also was able to shoot a quail during a private hunting excursion.
Not bad for 8 years old.
