I asked Carina to put her pajamas into the basket this morning.
She did.
After emptying out all of the stuffed animals and dolls.
Guess I should have specified the LAUNDRY basket.

In other news, potty training, which at first seemed so promising..
has flopped.
Anyone have new strategies??

yes, let her wear "big girl underwear" or a long skirt/dress with no underwear......give her lots to drink so she feels the need to go...hopefully, she will! now, if she has an "accident" she is not going to like how it feels going down her legs....this should only last 2 or 3 days...then she will be trained....the downside is that you will have to clean up a few puddles and do a little extra laundry at first, but it will be worth it! results will be happy mom and happy kid!! how do i know? because i've done it!
tried this!! she definitely did not like the feeling of "water" down her leg..but it didn't stop her and after a couple of days I got tired of cleaning up the mess...problem is, that she knows!! she is just being stubborn. Thanks for the input though..
