KODA

 We did a thing.

We'd been talking about it for awhile and finally just said that since there will never be a "convenient time" while the kids are still living at home, lets just do it!!

So, about 2 months ago, we found a breeder a couple of states away with puppies.

Koda came to us this past Saturday, March 30th.

Finding a name was tricky.  Everyone had a say in it and finally we voted.

Koda is a Bouviers des Flandres.

I know, I know..I had never heard of this breed before either.

It is a Belgian breed known for herding...perfect right?

He is also hypoallergenic and doesn't shed...supposedly.  Though so far, that is true. Bouviers actually have two coats and the one catches any loose hair.  So you can see he is a fluff ball and will have to be groomed regularly. He is going to be big.

As you can see, he has plenty of attention.
He has really been pretty easy going so far..we're still working on crate training and such, but overall he has been really good.

Welcome to the family, Koda.
