Mid-September, our Family Fellowship Group met after a long dry spell of not meeting for various reasons.
We met at a farm belonging to one of our church members.
We planned a bonfire and hayride along with smores, hot chocolate and a devotion.
It was the perfect night for it.
There were no bugs.
It was not too hot or too cold.
Really, it couldn't have possibly been better weather.
It was too dark by the time we went on the hayride for pictures, but I must say, it was the best hayride I've ever been on personally. Apparently, they do some crazy ones with older kids, but this one had just enough bumps and dips and speed to keep the older ones happy while not frightening the little ones.
A nice time was had by all.
We are looking forward to the next event.
