HUNTING PHEASANT
This morning, Steven, Donny, Mike, & Matt (I think that is all of em) went out pheasant hunting behind my parent's house. Mike only got one bird--not really enough for a meal, but hopefully more to come.
Casela--sorry, I'm not sure how they spell it. She is a German Shorthair...good bird dog.
If you've never had pheasant, try it. Its really quite good. Pheasant Parm is yummy!!

SUNDAY: END OF WEDDING TRIP.
(I'm skipping ahead to Sunday of Wedding Weekend..cause I really have a ton more photos of the reception etc. but some need to be edited and it'll take a lil bit longer--while these are ready to go.)
********************************************************************************************************************************************
On Sunday, we headed home. We got up early Sunday morning--we had checked out a church in Frederick that had an 8:30am service. (We--well, okay-I, wanted to get home asap to the kiddies). So we get to the church a few minutes early, and there was no one in sight. Not a car. 8:20am. Nobody. 8:25am. Nobody.
Mike joking around says, yeah, they decided to not have the 8:30am service for today. 8:30am. Nobody. 8:35am. Nobody. So we drove around the building. It was pretty huge--maybe there was another entrance. No. But! At the top of the hill was a house with lights on and a few cars in the parking lot--it was connected to the church. We figured maybe they were having a Bible Study. So we got out and knocked on the door.
Sure enough-they NORMALLY have an 8:30 service, BUT they cancelled it for that day because they were having their church picnic. (They had 2 other later services, not just the early morning one). Figured!! So, after much debate, we went back to the hotel where Mike found info on an OPC in Gettysburg, PA that we would be able to make in a couple of hours.
We hopped in the car and traveled, roughly 2 hours, if I remember correctly, to this little Gettysburg OPC.

FRIDAY PART 4: DINNER ...the wedding saga continued.
Friday night, after the rehearsal luncheon--Mike and I went out for dinner. My pictures are stuck on my phone--I can't email them like I used to be able to do..so until I find some wi-fi service--there they remain. We walked around an outdoor mall-type thing and ended up at a little mediterranean (did I spell that right?) place for dinner. We ate outside. It was on the late side, so we didn't have the crowds. It was nice.
And the food was really good. I forget what it was called now, but it was yummy.

These pictures are from the other day, while we were waiting for Michael to get home from school. The girls decided to play with blocks. Well, Rena decided to play with blocks. Rian just wanted to chew on them.

Isn't she cute though??!!
This is Jack. Rena named him herself.
She loooves Jack. :)
This is Pooh.
And this is Baby.

One of Rena's many block towers.
Isn't she cute though??!!
Yeah, you know it.
Waiting for her lunch.
Our schedule has changed dramatically since school has started. Where once upon a time the kids would go to bed around 9/9:30pm--it is now 7pmish. Where they once slept till 8:30/9am (or later!) they're now up between 5am and 8am...Rian at 5am, though she does go back to sleep for a couple of hours, Michael is up at 6:40am to get ready for school--bus comes at 7:30am, and Carina is up around 7:30/8am. We're limited in the morning too with what we can do--cause the bus drops Michael home at 11:30ish. Lunch. Naps. And the afternoon is nearly over. It is nice that I get a little more time in the evening to "myself"--but by that time, we're pretty much pooped. It has been quite an adjustment.
Michael is loving school, by the way. And doing extremely well.
Anyway, thought I would share.

WEARING OF THE HAT
YET ANOTHER SHOWER...
Friday night, I attended a bridal shower--this time for Marisa & Adam. They plan to tie the knot in February.
It was planned as a surprise, but Marisa knew something was up.
