HAPPY 4TH (aka the longest list of pictures ever!)

These pictures are in the exact reverse order.

After the picnic we went to see the Blairstown/North Warren fireworks. It was soooo crowded as usual...we sat in the A&P parking lot.
Unfortunately, the kids were wiped out and had fallen asleep in the car--but Carina woke up and wanted her bed. She didn't care to see the fireworks, so we left before the finale.

Getting to be sleepy time for Estrella (Es-stray-a) otherwise known as Baby Star.
Hi Rian! You were such a good girl!

Some game shots..

Check out that "tan!" Yikes!!

Enjoying Ice Cream Sandwiches--

This little girl has got to be the messiest eater ever!!

Getting ready to go in the pool..first time this year. The temp was over 75 degrees! Beautiful!

It took a little bit of a "struggle" to get Michael to go in the pool...but once in, he did NOT want to get out!

Even Rian had a little dip.

Eric is a little water bug too..

What fantastic weather!

Aunt Robin & Rian...the picnic was by Uncle Danny & Aunt Robin's home. Thanks for hosting!

All the kids enjoyed playing with Faith..

Umm...I did not partake. However Mike & Joe said it was good.

Scary, I know!

On her way to the swings...

So cute!

Cuter!!

Baby girl!!!

So photogenic already!

Sitting down for lunch...course the kids don't eat much of anything--so they missed out on the pork and potato salad and beans and mac salad..etc.

We had a nice day...hope everyone else did too!

HAPPY SHOWER

On Saturday, June 27th, Cathy (future sister-in-law) had her bridal shower down in Mahwah.

The weather held out for us and it was a nice time..

The wedding is right around the corner--at the end of September.

All the best to you both--

LITTLE BAKERS

We made some banana bread the other day....one of those endless rainy days. Look at the concentration it takes to grease a pan!

What hard workers!!Now to add some flour...

And enjoy some batter...

Another day we made some cookies.

What fun days!

RIAN LIYA

Rian Liya: Rian is a name I've liked for a girl since I was a little girl...

Since Rian is not a common name for a girl--we decided that ''Lee" ( a family middle name on both sides) was too masculine. We thought about spelling it Leigh..but again, you can't see the spelling when pronouncing it--so we thought to feminize Lee as Leah...spelled Liya, which means in Hebrew "I am the Lords."
That is certainly our prayer for Rian as well as all of our children.

SISTERS

Andy and Trish gave the girls matching outfits...

Aren't they cute??

All ready to go to the picnic.
Carina is finally okay with having things in her hair...she likes her "piggy tails" very much.

FATHER'S DAY TREAT

After dinner on Father's Day we went outside to make some s'mores. Daddy did not want any pictures taken of him--you'll notice how the kids are "dressed" and so you can imagine why. :)
Yes, Michael is wearing underwear. For probably 2 weeks now. We still have accidents now and again..but no more diapers (cept for night time). Yay!!

Gotta love this one of Rena & her marshmallow...

Sticky fingers!!

Hiney Monster!!! Is that how you spell hiney?? I don't think that I have ever attempted to spell it before.
We're going to be getting rid of those diapers--or should I say, we're going to be working on getting rid of those diapers really soon...Michael still needs some attention.

Yummy!!

And yet again...Yummy!
We hope you had a wonderful Father's Day, Daddy!!!

MATCHING

Popi and Michael had matching shirts on.....

And enjoyed reading the Diego book...

Its a blessing that the kids have great-grandparents on both sides of the family!
