BARRACUDAS

 Swim practice started at the end of May as "come when you can" in the evenings.

We have 5 swimmers this year.

4 on the regular team..

..and a new swimmer on the Developmental Team.

So far, he is doing great!

The goal of the developmental team is to work with the kids teaching them the different strokes and working on endurance in order to "graduate" them to the regular team.

Developmental swimmers do not compete in the meets.

First meet is next week, stay tuned!

GROWING

 

It has been awhile since I posted any pictures of our pup..

Koda is now 5 months old.

He was given a drastic haircut for the summer-but it is coming back in now nicely.

We just started obedience training a week or so ago and he is doing great.

If we could just get over the puppy nipping stage now, it would be much appreciated.

PROM 2024

 Homeschool Prom 24 was held at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn.

It was a beautiful day.  We couldn't have asked for nicer weather.

This year's theme was "Enchanted Forest."

Just have to document this.

This one hasn't had a professional cut in probably 12 years.

I usually will just trim up the ends.

It took a bit of coercion, but we finally got her there and even got some long layers!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

 

Hockey season is almost over for the Spring.

This team is ranked #1 as of now with 8 wins and 3 losses.

It was GT's first time playing but we could see improvement every game. 

The coaches were great and he really enjoyed playing.

One more game until Fall season!

ON THE AIR

 

Studio C held the annual dance recital recently.

Bean did her tap routine to the song "You Make My Dreams Come True."

She also had a part as a country dj.

So the theme of the show was basically a call-in radio show.

The studio asked all patrons throughout the year to submit their song requests and then used them for the final performance.
