PRETTY GIRLS
Carina Jean...
...will be 2 years old in just 2 1/2 week or so.

SAMPLES
Last week was "Safety Week" at school. Michael came home one day wearing a police hat that he made.

FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY
Saturday, Michael attended his first birthday party with the kids from his class. It was at Clown Around in Flanders.

Only socks allowed on the equipment.
The two girls sitting by Michael are his friends. He plays with them ALL the time. Every day he comes home and I ask him who he played with, and the answer is always the same. They were who he played with at the party the whole time too.

Michael had a great time. He was exhausted afterwards. Definitely someplace to go back to in the future--they had everything under control. Playdate, anyone?

Saturday, after being out all day--I got home and heard Nola crying.
She never cries.
I called her a couple of times and she did not come. So I went looking. She was stuck up in a tree. Pretty high up. Mike heard her when he left in the morning, but thought nothing of it. So, in all likelihood, the poor cat was stuck in the tree ALL day.
Ladder #1
It didn't even come close!
Mike called our neighbor to see if we could borrow his ladder.
Ladder #2.
Still not long enough by a good 8 feet or so.
So, we had to call in the big guns. And the truck wouldn't start for probably 15-20 mins.
They finally got it going and drove it into our driveway.
Up he goes...
Poor kitty was so scared she didn't even move.

What an ordeal!!
