15

We celebrated 15 at the end of April.

We had a small family party planned, but had to cancel the date we had.
With our crazy schedule, we are going to try and fit something in this month.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Missy!

SPRING HOCKEY

Soccer and Tball just weren't enough.

😜

Hockey had to be added to the mix.

Hoping for a fun season.

SIGHT AND SOUND

Last week, we had the opportunity to go out to Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster.

It was a beautiful day!

In the past, just the big kids have gone, but this time we all went.

We stopped at Kitchen Kettle for lunch and some browsing before heading to the theater.

The trip was organized through one of our co-ops and we got to see the production of "Daniel."
Awesome show and what a ministry!!

People rave about Broadway-but this was just spectacular!
Highly recommend-if you get a chance to check it out, definitely do so.

ACCIDENTS HAPPEN

 Things happen.

Sometimes we don't know why, but we trust always for a reason.

A few weeks ago, Mike got hurt during a rescue call with the fire department.

This led to surgery last week.

No use of the arm/hand for who knows how long.
The follow up visit is soon, hopefully he will be cleared for "restricted duty."

TBALL

Tball started this week!

We have had SOO much rain lately, practice would most definitely been cancelled, however coach has an "in" for a large indoor space so we had practice even in the nasty weather!

Pretty cool, huh?

PRIVATE LESSON RECITAL

At the end of March, the private lesson students had an opportunity to perform.

The "regular" concerts can get really, really long so a couple of years ago the co-op decided to break it up a little bit.  Missy and her friend share a lesson and sang the song "Popular" for their performance.

The teacher refers to this crew as "the young Eagles," and in keeping with that name they played "Hotel California."

Only about 5 weeks left until the co-ops wrap up for the summer!
