We were once again able to bring the fire prevention program to our co-op.
It was a beautiful, even warm hot day in October when the firetruck pulled up for a safety talk and demonstration. MJ was able to help out for one period.
Always sad when we have to say goodbye to summer, but it is inevitable as we all know.
This fall has been pretty mild so far-here we are in November and it is almost 70 degrees.
I'll take it!
One gloomy Saturday in October, we headed to the local orchard to pick some apples.
MJ was working and so missed out, but I suppose that is part of life and only going to become more common as time marches on.
Mister turned 2 this past weekend!!
Still not talking much--he has a few words but communicates quite well without them.
This past week, we hosted the 2nd Annual Bake-off!!
This year 5 of the kids entered..and my kitchen was tied up for two days in the making of their creations!
The theme was "literature." Contestants had to choose something from their favorite book and create it!
There were two categories--appearance and taste--with small prizes for first and second place in each category.
