9 MONTHS

Yesterday, little mister turned 9 months old!
Hard to believe that in a blink of an eye, Lord willing, he'll be one.

Travis is super friendly and smiley..as long as I'm holding him.
He does have some issues with separation.
Still the squirmiest kid around..it makes holding him (such as in church) quite a challenge.  He. does. not. sit. still.  Ever.
Travis loves being outside and especially loves the water--whether it be bath or pool.  He already has a special connection with his big brother, though he likes playing with all the kids.
He is 18 pounds 1 ounce and 28 1/2 inches long.
He is a speedy crawler and has taken cruising along and between all the furniture. Teeth numbers 5 and 6 are fast approaching.   He is getting increasingly vocal.  He is also showing more and more interest in "real" food to the point that sometimes he downright refuses baby cereal.
Happy 9 months, big boy!!

COUNTY FAIR

This year we skipped the grand ole state fair and went to our little county fair.  Same thing on a smaller scale..
(including smaller price).

Michael played a game in the FFA building and won a fish.

 Watching a pig show!

One of the cool things that this fair has that the state fair DOESN'T have is the balloon festival.

Very cool to watch all the balloons take off..

 Michael thought so too.

love it!  Too bad not everyone was looking in the same direction, but such is life.

 more balloon pictures.

 Waiting for Daddy.

Each of the kids got to pick one ride.
Michael picked the ferris wheel.

 and loved it!

The girls went on the carousel.

After that, we got some ice cream and it was time to go home!!
Mike took 2 of the kids back that weekend, so a few more fair pictures to come.
